Ride Of The Week 06/15/2020: Brian & Paula McCarthy's 2014 Camaro SS Convertible, "Tuxedo"

“The Never-Ending Test Drive”

I've met Brian and Paula McCarthy at a couple of Camaro events over the years. Paula sent me this profile of their 2014 SS Convertible, "Tuxedo".

“Every year since it was re-introduced, Brian would take a Camaro out for a test drive. He came home with this SS convertible in 2014. The dealership let him keep it overnight. It never went back. We came to find out that the previous owner got the car in a divorce and decided to sell it. The original dealership custom ordered the color scheme as white stripes weren't regularly seen on 2014s.

We were married with the car in 2018 at the Ontario Camaro Club Nationals in 2018. Our Grandson started calling the car “Tuxedo” and the name stuck. All told, we’ve won 13 awards with “Tux” and enjoy driving him to Camaro shows all over North Americal”
