Car Show Season Is Here
After fits and starts during 2020 thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2021 is beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel. And, behind that light, are car shows!
The weekend of April 9-11th saw the 60th annual MaxMotive World Of Wheels Presented By NAPA finally take place. The show traditionally is scheduled toward the end of January and had been on the calendar for the end of February. Lingering COVID-19 restrictions pushed it to March and then finally to last weekend. But, the show did go on, one of the few events that can maintain its "annual" status.
Car Show Life was proud to be the chosen show board designer for 10 rides in the field. Five of those vehicles belonged to members of the Classic Wheels & Wild Rides Car Club of South Western PA. Michael Szymkowiak, John Ballish, Chet Cleveland & Hunter Lund all took awards for their rides. And the club display took home an award for Outstanding Club Display. We at Car Show Life like to think we helped with our boards, t-shirts and wash buckets, too!
Our congratulations also go out to two of our motorcycle customers. Annette & Rob Snyder each took awards for their bikes that were on display with Car Show Life show boards. Rob's told the story of how his Harley was a rolling tribute to their beloved dog, Thea. Annette's detailed the history of her bike, a relatively unknown Ridley with an automatic transmission.
Also on display were the 1973 Z28 of Bill Dees, Ray Turner's 2009 Pontiac G8 and two pre-war Fords owned by Drew Hopay.
To all of our customers, thank you for choosing Car Show Life to tell your ride's story!
