Car Show Life During COVID-19

Updated: Apr 23, 2020

If you’re like me, you’ve been waiting all winter to get your car out and start cruising and attending shows in Spring 2020. However, it is not to be, at least in the near term. The COVID-19 pandemic is wreaking havoc on all aspects of life. Those that have it the worst (besides those actually infected) are the ones who make their living in one of the many industries that have been shutdown as a result of social distancing and sheltering in place. Bartenders, servers, hairdressers, salespeople, hotel and hospitality workers, DJs, musicians; people who earn their money one hour, one commission or one gig at a time are not able to work from home like so many others.

So, while I am still able to maintain my livelihood remotely, I thought about what I could do to help. A car show is at its essence, a fundraising enterprise. Every show you attend has some cause that benefits from entry fees or silent/Chinese auctions and raffles. For those of us who can keep working and have some disposal income, I have a proposition for you. Let me turn your car into art!

If you can afford it, make a purchase of car art or apparel at Carshowlife.net/shop and I'll donate 75% our of net proceeds to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank to assist those who are not working in this crisis. Car Show Life has several categories of car art I can create for you. I can make your car the star of its own movie poster, a cover model on a magazine, turn your ride into a 1/64 scale diecast or create a custom concept rendering. I’ll provide you with a digital copy to enjoy now and once restrictions are lifted, I’ll send you a physical print suitable for framing.

If you can’t make a purchase, help me further this mission and share Car Show Life with your circles. Follow @Carshowlifebackinhoodup on Facebook or Instagram. Like and share posts or leave a comment from time to time.

Either way, you’ll help me stay busy (and sane as I shelter in place) and together we’ll be able to use our love for our cars to continue to raise money for a worthy cause without ever leaving the garage.

If you have questions, feel free to hit me up at info@carshowlife.net. Thanks! And stay safe!
